  2. China, India, Vietnam and Russia does not want the UN to interfere nor condemn the Myanmar development as a "coup". The military has always had the main say in the country with lots of influence, prior to the full takeover earlier this year. Can that be seen as a genuine coup? Debatable. Either way, nothing will be done because several superpowers are unwilling to do what it takes.
