Glad that I don't have to learn all of these oil sheikh's and middle eastern monarchs' names by heart. Some real tongue twisters.

Corruption is hard to root out. A change in leadership would benefit the people. I doubt a new leader would be as illiterate as Lukasjenko when it comes to dealing with viruses. Suggesting sauna visits, drinking, driving tractors and playing hockey to counter a virus outbreak may be one of the most incompetent policy proposals i've ever hard. Lukasjenko does also have ties to Communist movements and ideas, which has impacted the economy and opportunities in the country, in a negative direction. I can see why people are angry.

The type of situation of where regulating away someone's voice for spreading misinformation may be justified ;)

Germany is one of the powerful states in the world, controlling most trade of exports/imports in Europe. It's almost as if the empire got built, discretely and in a different fashion.

@drunkensailor3736 Stop spamming.

@salsa564 USA isn't really a tax haven. It instead has other benefits/characteristics that attracts investors and rich billionaires even if they have to pay taxes, such as high standards of living, a culture that certain people like, relative safety and a powerful position on the global stage. The more poorer and unknown countries has to attract elsehow, such as by becoming a tax haven.

Good job on debunking many of the conspiracies around the vaccine and pandemic, in a cautiously sensible manner. Props. So annoying to see dozens of comment sections be flooded with such ignorant remarks whenever you view a news video on this site.

A stable Israeli state would benefit the US more than anything else. The only reason that I can understand the US supporting further Israeli settlements and anexation may be to expand Israel's interests in the Middle Easy, which may impact Iran and its terror-allies in the region. Farfetched and risky, but you never know with the US.

Interesting perspective on the factors causing polarization. Social medias and its many echo-chambers does likely have a ton of influence when it comes to reaffirming people's beliefs as well, something perhaps worth mentioning.

This video and compiled setbacks does admittedly not look good for Trump. But in the end, his tactics on the market led to him becoming one of the most successful persons in America if we look at his amassed wealth, status of fame, and the opportunities he's had. I think the average American capitalist (the value that built America) sees themselves in him, wishes that they could be him and that they could experience the things that he's experienced. That's why he's elected, and supported. He stands for equal opportunity and the principle that anything is achievable through enough effort put in. An embodiment of the american dream.

Even Huawei's CEO admitted that the company has indulged in a whole lot of spying, intellectual property theft, unfair trade practises and support/oversight by the Chinese Communist Party. I don't want such companies to receive influence in trade, data tracking and western influence. So I can see the criticism and sanctioning going on.

Switzerland, the most prosperous, successful and richest country in the world.

Ah, a fellow swede. Good taste brother!

It's as if North Korea is ruled by a bunch of immature middle schoolers. Aggressive, rebellious, undiplomatic and hostile.
2
@drunkensailor3736 The US isn't involved in Yemen. Sure, they may sell weapons to Saudi Arabia and UAE; but they're not the culprits in the civil war. The terrorist Houthi rebels are. They're blocking shipments and has seized a leaking oil tanker to extort the Yemeni government and the international world into giving concessions. They've bombed their neighbouring countries and domestic entities. They've slaughtered innocent Yemeni residents. Trump, UAE, or the Saudis, aren't the actors doing anything wrong here. It's the Houthis. Trump's and the Saudi critics should try and acknowledge that fact. The fact of the matter is that the US hasn't declared war, has slowly withdrawn their troops, and has neutralized some front figures of terrorist movements around the world. It's valid to give credit where credit is due here.

tl:dr, no. Sweden and Belarus has done way worse in every respect.
2
Just waiting for Argentina to use their planned economical approach to regulate the art industry now. Surely it's coming.
2
The term used to refer to this religious group is "mormon", and that's what every person understands. Changing the terminology won't work, at least not easily.
2
Tsichanouskaja was a temporary activist and didn't succeed much. Can't be compared.
2
@andreaszimmermann6200 And Switzerland is the safest, most prosperous country with the highest growth and is seen as the most desirable country on earth by many, many parameters. Is the conservative ideology that dominates the country, historically and today, a coincidence? 😂
2
@paganlecter6819 The Swedish green party in government has pushed for the abolishment of nuclear energy with the removal of our nuclear reactors. Just like in Germany. More dirty energy sources will compensate for the energy shortage, a policy that we often see by the Greens, supported by Greta.
2
It's deserved for all the nonsensical protesting, attacks against people with mainland ties, and domestic destruction that the movement has caused the past year. I'm pleased with this outcome, even though I'm generally a heavy critic of China and it's communist ties.
2
Wouldn't more centralization technically solve that too? Or are you calling for the decentralization of Lima?
2
The CIA approach. Although CIA has some sort of moral compass and dignity, as opposed to these communist oppressors committing crimes against humanity.
2
"New Germany of Europe" lmaooo 😂. Spot on 😂
2
@sarahhaugh7922 What sort of skeletons?
2
China and Russia (and their socialist allies) openly turning a blind eye to evasion of sanctions, illegal trade, trafficking, and strengthening the position of rogue unpredictable tates with nuclear weapons that may be launched at any time....yeah, nobody should be surprised. That's why all of these countries should be treated as pariahs until they start behaving in a legitimate manner that benefits rather than destroys the world.
2
@Romer70 Middle Eastern countries aren't that bad if you behave, are religious and follow the doctrine/laws ascribed. The economy is usually a whole lot better in the Middle east, at least in the relatively stable nations, since they aren't communist-esque hellholes like Belarus.
2
Why do people always have to assume that money is involved when presenting a political view, speculations or videos about geopolitics? So pointless.
2
Criticism of China isn't suppressed in the way that many people falsely insinuate. Or what do you mean, Alex?
2
udayan biswas Don't go conspiratard about it. YouTube are demonetizing pretty much every video on this platform. Content critical of China isn't being deliberately restricted. That's a blatant lie by people trying to make things up for political or conspiratorial reasons.
2
What the..i've followed geopolitics for years on a daily basis from several different sources and i've never heard of this territorial dispute.
2
The vitamins and nutrition levels are great, and the healthiness of the product is considered as high, comprehensively. Abandoning dairy products and going vegan/vegetarian does often cause malnutrition, hinders development/growth and has many negative side-effects.
2
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow is an autocratic president of the country, not a monarch. And we don't know that much about Turkmenistan, it's second to North Korea in being the most closed-off hermit state in the world.
2
Oh man, this is gonna be good😂
2
What does that quote have to do with this video and why does these comments keep being embraced on videos about unrelated topics? I could understand it if the comments were relevant, but it's just spam at this point
2
Vegans has issues with malnutrition, mental illness and the cost/sustainability of the diet isn't realistic for people to uphold. Transitioning the meat/dairy market into a greener direction is the more reasonable and realistic approach.
2
Can't believe that I haven't heard about this piece of legislation. I follow international news several hours on a daily basis and this change in Poland is news to me. Strange.
2
Releasing criminals and letting these senseless and psychopathic individuals relapse and continue on with their deranged lifestyles won't solve much, quote the opposite. It'll amplify the issue. We need to go tougher on crime.
2
@drunkensailor3736 Why are you spamming...?
2
Shouldn't be that difficult to calculate that providing special rights, positions and leadership roles to unqualified individuals, solely based on race, without fixing the roots of the problems such as fairly raising the level of education, crushing crime, creating a prosperous/stimulative and safe business culture where people are willing to reside at...will cause immense chaos. But we see the same policies being suggested today because some criminal died, that led to rabid movements forming regarding "racial injustice". The outlook for this country isn't great ATM.
2
@drunkensailor3736 No, it doesn't. Stop self-advertising.
2
Most people are pleased with living in China. Only the small number of dissidents are heard and broadcasted in the West.
2
Venezuela, neo-commies/marxists inspirational societal model.
2
I don't get why Israeli leadership even are suggesting such imperialist nonsense instead of deescalating the tensions by causing permanent stability. Idiotic..
2
Nah, that's probably nostalgic bias speaking.
2
Justice and law enforcement is very important to prevent a violent situation seen in Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico where criminal networks, cartels, and psychopathic murderers wreaks havoc with almost impunity. Hugging these people isn't the policy that works, hence why people support someone like Duterte and his political priorities.
2
Source?
2
What sort of freedoms and democratic values are you longing for? The main problem I have with China is their expansionist foreign policy that jeopardizes global peace. Their support for communist countries abroad, and glorification of Mao at home. That sub-par standards of living and fraudulent techniques on the market becomes the norm.
