  3. What sort of freedoms and democratic values are you longing for? The main problem I have with China is their expansionist foreign policy that jeopardizes global peace. Their support for communist countries abroad, and glorification of Mao at home. That sub-par standards of living and fraudulent techniques on the market becomes the norm.

China's success in handling the coronavirus, boosting their economy and through self-reliance or cooperation with close allies not emulating/adhering to Western standards even though condemnations, criticism and diplomatic pressure directed at China or similar countries, is why democracy around the world is on retreat. People have lost their trust in the political system now when many authoritarian states has turned out so successful.
