Striving for a functioning future with good levels of air quality isn't virtue signalling. It's a defensible position that has been hijacked by multinational companies, interest groups, and a pointless partisan debate. Every side, especially the right, should be in favor of going green. Just because some left-wing activists focuses on the matter, doesn't imply that it's per definition "bad". I say this as a nationalconservative. Let's unite and bring us together in issues where bipartisan support should be the norm. Virtue signalling and paying lip service implies that you deep within don't support a certain cause, or that you're actively working against your own interests. I wouldn't say that is what's happening from those supporting action to hinder climate change.

His cancellation of the project is one of the few good moves that he's done...spending on infrastructure and green environmental projects will create jobs, a cleaner air quality and a safer future for everyone. We don't need to use ancient fuel or energy sources that pollutes the streets, kills off species, and warms the globe.

Natural gas is still considered as a fossil fuel even though it emits ~60% less CO2 than oil/coal sources. Slowing down emissions and creating a healthy and clean atmosphere won't be realistic without doing all we can to solely rely on renewable and sustainable energy sources. If that's, temporarily, more expensive, so be it. Who is sponsoring these videos and these speakers to reject the need to decrease emissions? The outgoing billion dollar worth gas companies?

30x doesn't sound that much considering that the US barely has focused on transitioning in that direction at all. Nuclear power doesn't have to be shutdown either, since the energy produced is technically clean if the waste is handled and stored properly. The renewable energy market is booming, scientifically effective if you care about bettering the environment's condition, and is where all the investments are going into these days. With this in mind, it doesn't sound that difficult to replace outdated and toxic energy sources.
