Congratulations India!!

Every Europe country should follow along France and close their borders to this politically extreme religion.

Why does such a large portion of people lack self-control? So many of these shootings and situations of melee is created by some stupid verbal dispute or guideline that isn't followed. Could've easily been avoided if the people involved, the shooter, were stable.
3
Sending my well wishes to Switzerland and the Swiss citizens. Hope you get past this and manage to eliminate Islamic terrorism on European soil. This can't go on. Switzerland is luckily a very strong country that tends to swiftly handle injustices and societal flaws.
3
The people are responsible for the fate of their own country. The rich world has aided and maintained the survival of Afghanistan for decades (not the invasion, by foreign aid). We can't do much more. We can't take in every Afghan (who believes in Sharia law) to our countries.
3
@Zer0nite Nope. He's always stood for law & order and peace. Getting all the facts on the stable and verbally/figuratively fighting his opposition in a staunch manner isn't incitement to violence. Looking for incitement to violence? Look at every BLM and Antifa supporter. Why aren't they suspended and placed in jail? Why is every media channel, journalist and politician supportive of those terrorists? I think we know why.
3
The culture is questionable though. Many drunks, violent/angry people and they support a leader that destabilizes the West. A leader that seemingly poisons opponents, is indirectly responsible for failure and collapse in infrastructure, oil/chemical leaks, a leader that support communist nations.
3
$260K. Can Ethiopia afford that? Are they bluffing?
3
USA has in some states locked down more than many EU countries. And what's wrong with lockdowns? Do you seriously not realize why that is appropriate now? We don't want you to travel here now anyway.
3
Jill Biden's a cutiepie. But did she stop improperly referring to herself as a "doctor" when she's working as a teacher? Or is that term normal in the US academic world? Seems disputed.
3
Cryptocurrency should be banned or heavily restricted. It's used to purchase illegal services on shady internet websites, on the dark web, etc. It's propped up by the financially illiterate and the currency is extracted through questionable ways. Old traditional ways of investing, retrieving and storing money are better alternatives in almost every way.
3
It's reported that a couple of Eritrean (or maybe Ethiopian) forces shot at the UN peacekeeping forces, because the UN forces interfered, according to the parties involved in the war. Tough, but hilarious at the same time. We do know that Eritrea are involved. Leaked conversations, interviews and satelite images showcases this.
3
I can see why Thai citizens are calling for the useless and uncivilized Thai monarchy that has lost its purpose, to be brought down. The country doesn't benefit by the monarchy, and the main monarchs are behaving like foul and sleazy hippies, desecrating the country's image.
3
I found it interesting. A little special news edition.
3
Sexist to assume that men can't advocate for what's right for women and the society. Do better, WION.
3
Federal authorities once again indicating that they are unwilling to serve justice. That they're fine with unconstitutional action to go after contentious people who aren't accused for- nor convicted of anything. Pathetic.
3
Alcohol is never an essential item. It's literal poison and destroys a country's moral fabric, its health, one's own organs and limits people's capacity to think straight. What a horrible message by the health authorities and government to send out during a health crisis. Typical Western values.
3
Nana Akufo-Addo seems like the go-to guy.
3
We're in a damn pandemic. Who cares what religious groups superstitiously thinks about the practises needed to prevent the virus from spreading? Apparently too many.
3
Japan is quite traditionalist and values the nuclear family, so it is quite surprising. But they've got some weird cultural elements, (lolis/tentacles and such), so you can see why some japanese citizens may have problems with the girls, or boys.
3
Isn't it pretty telling that Apple claims that they can't unlock their own manufactured phones, even in criminal investigations on a federal level, but people keep on finding loopholes within the phone and its program to hijack users phones, spy, monitor steps and receive information?
3
Until the USA has control over the virus and has immunized their population, these restrictions ought to remain in place. Can't argue with that, frankly.
3
So glad that Soviet collapsed. Such a stain on humanity.
3
If you want to bring about serious change, never march with the LG-community. No authority or individual will take it seriously and will start supporting the army instead. The indecent values and hippie-culture that it brings isn't preferrable, least said.
3
Grasp all, lose all. This is a prime example of that. Placing forward ultimatums and forcing your perceived allies to take a controversial position may hurt you more than abstaining from placing forward the ultimatum would've in the first place.
3
They've got impunity and free reign to do whatever they like. The media won't even pick up their atrocious acts.
3
$144b deficit in december 2020 vs. $14b deficit in december 2019. Insane discrepancy. But not surprising after the economic downturn during this crisis.
3
I imagine this will be Boeing's final chance to prove that they're capable of flying safely and without any irregularities. They've lost $20B the past 2 years and had their reputation crushed. CEO's and executives has been replaced. The company is bleeding. And on top of that, they're going back to a bleeding industry. Will be fascinating to see what's happening next. Europe and FAA has approved their ability to start flying again, maybe they'll get back to business as if nothing has happened. We'll see.
3
Chill, it's just harmless.
3
Not to defend China, but Western countries tends to ban Chinese news reporting and jouranlists, which leads to a counterresponse by China. Not the other way around.
3
Veganism isn't as nutritional or tasty, unfortunately. Abandoning meat and spending extra time to produce/cook disgusting food isn't very attractive. So most people prefer to uphold their habits. But that doesn't mean that security and good safety standards shouldn't be strengthened.
3
A savannah elephant weighs around 6,000 kg. There's 130K elephants left in Botswana. So 780 million kg of elephant mass wanders around in Africa's final elephant stronghold, Botswana. There's around 330K elephants left in the entirety of Africa.
3
The audacity by Iran to blame Saudi Arabia for the famine in Yemen when Iran are funding the insurgent groups that has caused unrest, chaos and misery in the country. Disgraceful.
3
Nothing Trump does will ever decrease his public support. He knows this. The man can literally shoot some randomers in the streets, as he've said, and his support will remain intact. When this nation inevitably goes downhill under a democrat Biden administration, Trump could use that to gather more sympathy and get another chance at running for office 2024.
3
He's also providing millions of dollars to foreign abortion clinics. He's not just ruining America. It's spreading outside. And the man has also stopped deportations of illegal actors, and increased the number of migrant admissions to the country from ~15,000 annually to ~125,000. The future isn't looking great.
3
While I may not agree with Putin's personal code of ethics and moral compass, making sure that the internet is clean and free from illegalities is something that we definitely need. Maintaining civility, legal behavior, removing insurrection plans and adhering so some type of etiquette is a good idea.
3
@itachi1448 This protest has nothing to do with financial struggles. And the guy is just expressing an assertion, as in "protests are frequent all over the world", he's not asking why it is happening nor rejecting the protests. So calm down.
3
Using the coup to stifle all dissent and quash all uncomfortable opponents. Clever, but scary.
3
Threats and intimidation. Goes to show that a person is an uneducated fool, desperate and insane if one believes that it's justifies to resort to such tactics..especially because a foreign journalist wrote an article that you did not approve of.
3
US, Canada and UK basically owns all the vaccines at the moment. Their supply exceeds their own demand several times, ironically enough. So of course they won't need Astra.
3
@389vtweron... 5 comments in and nobody has managed to answer your question. How typical. Navalny has been in the crosshairs of the Russian state for quite some time. He's seen as an annoyance, and represents the opposition of the country. That worries Putin and the authorities. It's believed that Navalny was poisoned by the Russian state a few months ago. Now, he's being accused of violating parole rules because of not attending a meeting that he couldn't attend because he was in a coma. The West, EU and USA in particular, are very critical of the arrest and punishments of Navalny and the associated protesters that we've seen the past weeks.
3
They do. But WION and Western media may not talk about it as frequently, because most visits are from countries that may not be seen as relevant to India or the West. China is South America's largest trading partner. China has funded plenty of infrastructure projects in that part of the world, and in Africa/Asia, spreading their influence. China has several close trading/diplomatic partners in Asia. Close cooperation.
3
Fun fact. Hummingbirds has such a rapid metabolism to the point where they have to lower their body temperature throughout the night to save energy and stay alive. There's 320 different species of the hummingbird!
3
Prevents unnecessary accidents by people improperly handling and discharging fireworks as well.
3
The death and transmission rate is a FACT that you can't reject. You may personally be selfish and advocate against the measures that blocks the spread, but that doesn't change reality that the country and world is experiencing, an alarming rate of the virus affecting people.

1:30, here comes the uninterrupted rap god
3
Kind of unrelated, but while we're on the topic of Germany, did you hear Merkel's view on the topic of tech censorship? It's more promising than I thought. She does not believe that these tech CEOs should hold the power to censor private users on their platforms, but rather that a country's judicial system should step in and prosecute wrongdoing if appropriate. That's how you defend freedom of speech and prevent power abuse.
3
Read the room, this isn't a situation to laugh. Show some basic manners.
3
God often fails and won't be able to be used to convince the atheist and agnostic world which you need to convince if you want to put pressure on the Myanmar military. It looks bleak for the Myanmar people. Challenging the military which are supported by China and other global powers, is close to an impossibility.
3
No, it isn't "split". Why did you spout that blatant lie without backing it up? Jesus... All data shows that vaccines works. That lockdowns are effective. That mask mandates limits the spread of a virus. There's no split consensus on this, unless you're willing to distort evidence or use outlier studies to falsely showcase it as representative.
