They think that they're morally righteous to do whatever they want because "oppression". They're acting based on instinct and emotion, without any analysis regarding the implications. I'm sure these people don't realize the fact that public perception of what they're doing will significantly drop if they are rioting as well, according to studies on the matter.
7
Global liberal media will make sure that the positive memories are withdrawn from people's hearts.
6
Russia isn't communist these days, neither is China. But they glorify their communist past and prop up communist/socialist states still to this day. They're corrupt rogue states breaking all codes of ethics, laws and ettiquette to favor their position, power and global influence.
6
This guy talks as if he's happy about the Yemen crisis.
6
Does Bangladesh have aircrafts? That's a new one. Thought they'd be religiously conservative enough to avoid such modern technology, or that the education levels would be too low to establish such an industry. Perhaps the West has aided them.
6
This country needs to up their management of the entire aircraft industry, increase pilot training and implement better oversight. This may've been an unavoidable accident due to weather, we're unaware of the details at the moment. But crashes and irregularities within these Indonesian airlines isn't rare. The highest amount of deaths the past decade related to flying has been recorded in Indonesian airspace.
6
Looking forward to see the artificial world that they'll create by a huge investment. A moon, flying cars, waves, and essentially a dream world intertwined in a city will be created. Huge plans involved in their efforts to diversify the economy prior to running out of oil.
6
I'm surprised that the Myanmar military hasn't initiated a strict armed crackdown against the dissenters, as they did back in 2016 against those committing acts of terror.
6
Losing a pointless war can't be great for a president's approval rating, that's for sure. I hope these calls to resign aren't warmongering actions.
6
A masters degree in mathematics or the science field to become an astronaut? Hmm. Sounds more like what you'd need if you were to work in the space industry once you've retired as an astronaut. But maybe there's specifics and thorough knowledge that you have to obtain to fulfill your purpose as an astronaut that I do not know about. This is just my amateur take, so feel free to fill me in if you've got any insight.
6
Make it mandatory so humanity can get through this crisis and so we don't have to handle any future roadblocks or hinders.
6
Trying to appeal to rationality and militant Islamists that burns down the nation for whatever trivial reason they can come up with, must be hard. If Pakistan's PM had some courage and judgement, he'd never appeal to domestic Pakistani radicals.
6
Must be unconstitutional. Especially at this early stage of the pandemic and when you look at the statistics of who's affected by the virus.
6
Democrats has been trying to abuse this tool to unseat and remove the president for years. They should be held accountable for politicizing a sacred constitutional ability to benefit their own side, without justification. Trump said, and did, absolutely nothing wrong. Any serious independent person who've examined the situation will see this.
6
Why is one part lying about the meeting? Pointless. The truth will come out.
6
Her people loved her. But yes, the West has shown fierce contempt for her for many years. And now they're decrying her arrest all of a sudden. Now they're suggesting that they've always stood behind her. What a joke.
6
Yeah, i'm sure the hoax is played along for the tourist money and to enrich Bosnia's national image, even if it's all based on an made-up lie debunked as pseudoarchaeological. Weird how even professional tennis players are willing to appear as superstitious psychics, believing in everything they see/hear.
6
Hold innocent sailors hostage as leverage and threaten their nation to give concessions. That's Iran's despicable way of handling diplomacy, summarized. This is why Iran is an international pariah for the most part.
6
@tenone7726 Because he has to signal that he's a feminist. That "women can do it too!!!". How does he do that? By appointing women that probably aren't as qualified as men, by discriminating against men and putting the nation in jeopardy in the process. Wow, good job Joe!
6
Another global recession (worse than the current one) would be inevitable if the largest country on earth's in-debt corporations were forced to default on their debt. I doubt it'll be allowed to happen without a fight. A big player crashing down on the market could also result in plenty of destabilizing and fast growing butterfly effects that negatively impacts global security/peace as well.
6
This waste should be handled better, optimally in closed-off locations to prevent external entities from entering and messing up the process of recycling/reusing/sorting the waste, and to prevent poisoning themselves. But I suppose a country like Sri Lanka hasn't got the time and resources to prioritize protecting animals and using plastic/waste properly. Ask for assistance.
6
So peaceful that the world lets them continue their peace operations without enough intervention.
6
The State Department's spokesperson needs to improve on his rhetoric. Way too many "uhh, uhh, uhm" noises during his speech.
6
This is the future. Artificial farms, high-tech greenhouses, and lab-based meat/food being the main source of nutrition for human beings, at a low cost and with a sustainable production model. It's inevitable.
6
What the Supreme Court did is that they decided not to try the case in court. They decided to not investigate the lawsuit/claims nor provide an official verdict. Horribly incompetent, unprofessional and biased during a historical crisis, if you ask. The courts should at least examine the case...
6
Airplane crash yesterday, ~60 dead. Landslide today. Indonesia's not catching any breaks.
6
These security bills are fantastic, we need more of them. Nobody should be able to humiliate and shame the police on malicious premises. Nobody should be able to terrorize police officers or their families because you don't agree with laws or the necessary action of arresting criminals. It's that simple. Freedom won't be depleted here, because serious journalists and individuals will still be able to criticize misconduct by the police and report on stories related to the police.
6
And vote to withdraw the envoy from France that weren't there. Or let the globe vote on international motions to "condemn islamophobia" because Macron is trying to secure his country. Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, and their friends, are such jokes.
6
Not to mention the crime rate. And inevitably shift in cultural values. The establishment of ghettos, segregated areas and welfare dependency, etc. Not pleasant. But this was fully expected when Biden took office. Many are masochistic enough to pretend to like this.
6
The site is generally a cesspool though. Full of commies and dirty liberals with a fetish for drugs, all forms of intercourse, and avenging their political opponents. Most people on the site seems mentally insane and belongs in a quarantine.
6
Or ask whether the respective partner consents during the intercourse. Insane times huh?
6
If anyone listens to Kamala Harris political analyses or proposals on how to handle things, their opinions can justifiable be dismissed immediately.
6
Saddening to hear that the situation is worsening in Peru, once again. I've got deep respect for Peru's attempt of taking strong measures to contain the virus even though the country has a problem with poverty and lack of development. They deserve to be doing better.
6
What a refreshing mindset from the Emirati. After all, Einstein used to say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results. Change, adjustments and improvements to a policy can be necessary to make it work. Great that people are breaking the partisan ethnic/religious barrier in the Israel->Palestine conflict.
6
@pranavpatel3576 He's not just talking about India, fool.
6
Lock em' up ASAP. We're not getting through this pandemic unless everyone is on the same page, doing what they can to minimize the spread.
6
>expecting freedom of press in any islamic dominated country You'd be more likely to come across and bump into fairies.
6
I actually believe Musk when he says that he'd shutdown the company if it was used to breach people's privacy and spy. He's the most libertarian oriented private person out there, after all. He believes that restrictions against the corona is fascism. Kind of hysterical.
6
This is just delusional. We've seen bloody Antifa riots several times the past weeks, destroying police stations, hindering the police's work, crushing windows, and calling on violence acts against right-wingers. Where's the reports and concern about that?
6
What does this have to do with China? And why do you expect the world to stop trading with a country that mass produces cheap products, with a 1.4B population? Not realistic.
6
Seems like they're punishing someone just for the sake of punishment, to make it appear as if some justice is served and that something is being done. The volcanic eruption were unpredictable and extremely unlikely. How about putting measures in place to prevent similar catastrophes? What about the responsibility of participating in these high-risk guided tours, is that non-existent? Feel free to fill me in if you've got further insight.
6
Entering other people's homes and provoking its owners is something that no reasonable person does. You know that we've got issues when nations are indulging in such practises over the world.
6
Not bringing them back and not sentencing them to what they deserve would be seen as a violation to international law, human rights conventions, and to various declarations. NGOs would get involved. Appearing as kind, accepting and following these irrational liberal paragraphs will be the end of Europe. It's like Europe is willingly shooting itself in the foot and letting everyone suffer accordingly, for no good reason.
6
State capitalism at its finest ;') We all know that these massive corporations are controlled by CCP insight and that they won't move from China. It's their pride and main source of income. So the CCP can do whatever they want with these companies.
6
Nobody should be able to create nuclear weapons. It's way too deadly and risky, especially if they end up in the wrong hands or are used on false premises such as if its usage is a retaliatory measure after a false interpretation of deepfaked footage. But anyone should be able to acknowledge that the creation of nuclear weapons isn't as risky if a stable and generally peaceful country does it, compare with e.g. Russia, North Korea or Iran.
6
Will negotiating with these radical militant groups such as the Taliban ever work out? Does anyone seriously believe that? Their goal is a suppressive caliphate and decisive Islamic control of everyone that they come in contact with. Peace, diplomacy and civility are all principles that likely will be thrown out by these sort of groups.
6
The people are doing better than the corporate, lobbyist and corrupted government? That's a given. But...the people do vote for the government. At least in the US.
6
Friends exist, but choose them wisely. Countries known for having issues with radicalism, terrorist sympathization, bombings, and a bunch of social issues, are probably not the type of countries to start close cooperation with.
6
Corona is never an "excuse" if you actually know what it is, how it spreads and its tangible risks. Don't be so insensitive and selfish.
6
I don't know how I feel about letting individuals from a poor country with standards and norms that aren't applicable to our own values stay in this country.. But of course that won't be acknowledged or analyzed by the Biden administration.
