  1. The guy was like 50-60 years old. I doubt any education system could've saved him. The authorities should've tried to connect the dots, find and arrest the high-risk subject, and prevent the theories that led him down this path of delusion.

  2. Being brainwashed and a believer in theories that deviates from reality can make a person do a bunch of stupid things. That correlation can't be understated. Letting people believe and say whatever they want is therefore a bit naive.
