  2. Russia isn't communist anymore, but they're supporting many communist states. Arresting an opposition isn't exclusively communist either, it's just authoritarian. Russia is a state capitalist country with traditional, nationalist and militarized values. But the state is basically decentralized, because crime, the media, wrongdoing, and the opposition isn't taken seriously enough (even though there's some cases such as the persecution of Navalny). It can therefore not be labelled as a fascist state or a full-on autocracy.
