  1. It's a common misconception to think that shutdowns, quarantines and curfews results in an economic downturn worse than the countries that stays open. Sweden stayed open and has suffered badly, including their economy. The economy is doing worse than in their neighbouring countries that closed down. New Zeeland's economy quickly rebounded and is doing better than many of their equivalent countries, and they had a national shutdown. NZ barely have any deaths or infections. Same goes for China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Mongolia, Hong Kong, South Korea and some others.
