Doesn't matter what you personally believe you can handle. This is about protecting children from graphic content, violence and bullying. Nobody in their right mind opposes that. Come on now.

Such content is already censored today. Russia has a specific map that indicates Russian territorial claims in areas internationally recognized as non-Russian territory. Maps are redrawn. Certain Wikipedia/journalistic sites are prohibited in some countries. All info is processed by certain states prior to receiving a green light. This is more about protecting children from scary and exploitative content though. Well--needed, in every country.

Every social media site must crackdown on harassment, misinformation and violent content. That's an important task. But why not discourage and prohibit children from accessing the internet or these platforms in specific? They shouldn't be using social media to the extent seen today. It's harmful and gets them into a world that does not reflect reality and may shape their perception into a distorted manner, becoming obsessed with catching likes/attention, getting strange ideas, being misled, seen exploitative content, etc. It's not suitable.

This isn't about censoring opinions or information, but rather damaging content. It's a case by case basis I imagine, but it shouldn't be hard to determine what content children shouldn't consume.
