  1. Maybe because hundreds of thousands people have died and because it's probable that you get very sick if you contract the virus. It's 10x as worse than the influenza. But when you're dismissive, cynical and egoistic, you don't look at these stats, you instead issue coldhearted comments like this.

  2. Not necessarily in a way that neutralizes a vaccines efficacy. But yes, that risk is still there. It could happen. That's partially why European countries slaughtered millions of mink when a mutated virus started to spread there, which seems to have been immune towards the manufactured vaccines. Slightly different DNA-strains and versions of the coronavirus has been detected around the world.
