  2. That is true. Especially military cooperation. NATO was actually strengthened as well. Many people do not know this. One of the main critiques against Trump was that he damaged the relations with our allies, which is an oversimplification and hyperbolic statement that many bought into. Although the trade wars with EU and China wasn't that great. Still, he managed to create the most booming economy in decades even though the trade war were fully ongoing.
