It's quite insane when you think about it. Large swathes of humanity were at peace in the beginning of 2020. Then the outbreak sparked and everything changed fundamentally. People's behavior had to be adjusted, societies were closed down, panic arose by mass purchasing toilet paper/food, people became desperate to socialize resulting in breaches of recommendations and riots, and people are realizing that nothing will ever be the same. Consumption habits may change. Social distancing may become the norm. Appreciating what you have will be easier. Becoming aware of the effects of one's decisions, conduct and analyzing one's surroundings is expected. Goes to show how rapidly things can change.
