  2. That's indeed huge. Bet it'll be used in the incoming space races to build civilizations in space and extract resources. Surprising that they'll let foreign researchers in to use the telescope. Although I presume the trade-off there is that China will receive all the detailed information that the researchers find by using the telescope.
