  1. Why can't every country mobilize and respond like China? Detect a few cases of coronavirus, close down the city entirely, enforce curfews, tests millions of people in a few days, and apply all safety precautions. That's how you react to a pandemic. Asian countries knows how to do it. However, China's initial response to the virus was horrid. Censored and punished doctors, stayed quiet, and encouraged their citizens to purchase PPP and masks abroad in a burning crisis starting to spread. They need to be held accountable.
