First off, China isn't communist anymore if you look at their policies. They've got socialist programs, believes in a form of equal outcome, praises Mao, and supports communist countries, but they're not communist in nature anymore. They've become state capitalist. Secondly, Hong Kong and Carrie Lam is certainly Not communist at all. She rules one of the most capitalist and powerful financial hubs in the world, in Hong Kong. Thirdly, the new security legislation in Hong Kong and the way that Lam is working with China to uphold stability in HK, jail violent vandals, and restore the economic situation, is worthy of PRAISE; not condemnation. The West is entirely wrong on this matter and are acting hypocritically. If the West were burning, would they accept the burning to continue? Would they strengthen security? Would they arrest the vandals? The answer is obvious.

The woman that stood up against brutal vandals, domestic terrorists, rebellious/spiteful students making their own weapons to play childish detectives, and against people that don't belong in Hong Kong. HK's residents supports the new security legislation. They're tired of what the city has turned into. Lam had no choice but to work with the country that technically controls the territory anyway. She hasn't done anything wrong.
