  1. That's interesting. It'd be incredibly strong cost cutting measures if it actually works. Millions of jobs would be lost, but probably diverted to other sectors through investment made by the cash saved.

  2. Hopefully it works out tomorrow then. Millions of dollars are lost and shortages are increasing by every passing day that the canal is blocked. If it goes on for too long, cutting off a part of the cargo ship might even be cheaper than letting it block the path.
