The official caliphate has been defeated. Not the ideology, but the mobilized ISIS fighters part of the caliphate in the middle east. Iran aren't a fan of ISIS for the most part and fought against the group. But let's not forget that Iran has actively destabilized the middle east by sponsoring Hizbollah, Hamas, PA, Houthis and by waging a proxy wars against those trying to minimize the presence of terrorism. Iran aren't innocent in any way.
