  1. Haha no. Countries are basically allowed to do whatever they want as long as it isn't too extreme or risky for the rest of the world. Protests are forbidden in a dozens of countries represented in the UN. UN can't do anything, and isn't a global police force.

  2. Considering that it basically only will apply to BLM, Antifa and corona violators, I don't really mind it. It's surprising that UK takes these harsh measures against all instability though. They're usually a weak country hijacked by the notion that human rights and freedom should transcend and trump everything else. The UK police is very weak. UK is still an unpredictable country these days.
