  1. Better than handing out a bunch of asylum and letting anyone enter. But yes, this is a slippery slope. Biden appointed a pro-immigration loyalist to the DHS. He'll create a path to citizenship for every illegal migrant. He'll open up our borders. Not great.

  2. As long as giving out these visas results in competent workers coming to the USA in a restrictive fashion, I don't see how it'd be a problem. But we know that that's barely what these provisions tends to entail. They tend to become more expansive and generous in the end, impacting the culture, market and a country's security. Especially now when Biden may take over.
