  1. I hope you're kidding. Why should women be given special treatment and encouraged to join a sector that they generally aren't interested in which requires a physical capacity that many women don't have? Women are liberated in the West. This isn't about empowerment.

  2. I've never heard any complaints about the structure, dynamic and competence seen in the firefighter sector. Why would the sector benefit by attracting females?
