  1. State capitalism at its finest ;') We all know that these massive corporations are controlled by CCP insight and that they won't move from China. It's their pride and main source of income. So the CCP can do whatever they want with these companies.

  2. The Chinese economy keeps on growing, people are lifted out of poverty and China may pass the US as the globe's main military/economic force in the incoming decade. If the opposite trend were occurring, CCP would be more careful with punishing their own companies. At this point, the CCP can do whatever they want. Especially since they managed to succeed in handling the corona, open back up, and beat Europe/NA significantly in economic growth/limited amount of deaths.
