  1. Not if a special trade deal is reached, which will occur at some point. Even if the WTO rules prevails, it likely won't have that much of an effect anyway. The UK saves billions in EU fees, will have an expansive supply of fish to catch, and won't have to accept uneducated individuals from abroad/sell off their self-determination. The question is if we can trust Johnson and the Torries to do the right thing though. Not sure about that.

  2. You can stay united without being part of a supranational union. Many countries, including prosperous ones in Europe, has such a relationship with the EU. It'll be brokered eventually. The side-effects of Brexit are mostly overblown.
