  1. Not to defend China, but Western countries tends to ban Chinese news reporting and jouranlists, which leads to a counterresponse by China. Not the other way around.

  2. Who's the victim if a country's media corporation has their reporting license suspended by another country that they're reporting in? This is not what "Playing the victim" means. They ARE the victims here, whether you like it or not. I don't know if the suspension was justifiable though. Likely not, since I presume it has to do with UK's support for the vandals in Hong Kong.
