Pakistan has all the wrong priorities, are still accused for housing terrorists and sympathizing with radicals (bending down to Islamists to implement stronger blasphemy laws and call out France for stomping out Islamic militantism). The country doesn't produce as much as India, isn't as stable and isn't considered as the future in the region. So the Gulf states gradually shifting their sight from Pakistan to India isn't strange.
