Lukashenko is a communist, controlled as a puppet by Putin (literally, not conspiratorially, Putin sent military vehicles, personnel and equipment to support Lukashenko's ability to stay in power when the protests erupted), he has negatively impacted the economy by leftist train of thought/reforms, and has rejected the existence of the coronavirus by downplaying it severely. Guess what recipe Lukashenko had for how the country should handle the pandemic? "Drive tractors, drink beer, bath in the sauna, and play hockey in the cold". Didn't even seem to be a joke.
