Why? These pardons are justified. People were entrapped and tricked into committing a (extremely petty) "crime" by the Mueller investigation, an investigation that were illegitimate. An investigation that started after FBI illegally had spied on the Trump campaign and used a politicized dossier and internet rumors to start it up. Obama shouldn't have had pardoning powers though. And they should perhaps be limited for everyone.

Now this is significant. But remember: Trump pardoned people that were trapped in the conspiratorial and laughably far-fetched Mueller investigation that broke so many laws and shouldn't have occurred under the rule of law. And some were pardoned for having committed petty financial crimes. Whom did Obama pardon? Well, many heavy convicts, drug abusers, and people that will pose a risk to the USA. Commutations to ~1,700 people were made. Hundreds were released. Clemency were given to those who had received life sentences. I hope people acknowledge that stark difference here.

@charzanboo9940 They lied about having spent time with some russian diplomat. They lied about non-issues, for reasons of what I presume were incompetence. Trump didn't collude and the historically embarrassing investigation should've never occurred. Flynn, Manafort, Papadopoulos, and Stone should've never been touched from the get-go. These pardons are justified.
