  1. There's like 110M landmines placed out globally. Costs noticeably more to remove one as it takes to place it down ($3/$30 vs. ~$500-1000). Niger is one of the country where landmines still covers a large swathe of its territory. It's estimated to cost like ~50-$100B to remove all landmines globally. Perhaps that should be prioritized to prevent innocents from dying off and being injured.
