  1. Many empty words and warmongering from both sides in this conflict, mainly from China though. China has stated that the island will be overtaken, by peace or by force if needed, for years now. Clashes, signalling symbolic force by deploying military personnel, planes, ships and submarines, and small verbal back and forth is all we see.
