  1.  @zCopyCatz  Singapore seems to be an almost flawless and exceptional country though. Does PAP really need an opposition at this point when PAP has governed the country so effectively and in a desirable way for so long? An opposition seems more like a pointless roadblock.

  4. The dream state. Considering how well things are going in Singapore, I don't see why they should allow an opposition to ruin all the progress and stability. A controlled opposition might be good if you want to operate under the disguise that you're a democracy and that people can choose another path, but why would that be necessary in the case of Singapore, the country that tops every single international list? Wish my own country could take inspiration by this beautiful nation.
