  1. Why should tech giants have to pay for various media companies existence on these platforms? Do these media corporations not realize that these tech giants aren't dependent on journalists and media sources? Both the tech giants and the media sphere will likely be at a disadvantage if this is implemented.

  2. All parties will be hurt by this. Got a probolem with Facebook? Regulate Facebook and specifically their practises. Don't punish several parties, which these reforms will lead to by tech giants cutting ties with news organizations entirely. I doubt the tech companies will pay a large sum of money upfront for sources that they can host without paying a fee if they choose other credible and popular media sources.
