  2. Exactly. They forgot the importance of the culture and societal attitudes holding them back. This is seen in India, Asia as a whole, and Africa. But lack of competence/education is also a factor.

  3. I wonder if the continentAfrica ever will put the barbarism, ancient rituals and corruption behind in order to thrive and use its potential. Doubtful.

  4. It's also a problem of people not being able to control their instincts and impulses, aka short-sighted egoists solely looking for pleasure - Leading to offspring in poor conditions growing up, fuelling the dangerous cycle of poverty, corruption, high child-mortality rates and misery.
