  2. It is on the agenda for many European countries. Global meetings are hold annually by mostly countries from the developed world attending. Socialist and liberal movements turning the question into a left-wing package does however probably not aid them in the goal to counter climate change, it rather turns people away.

  3. Change yo lifestyle. That'll have the most effect. The issue is that most hypocritical westerners with top standards of living prefer their mass consumption, shopping, and constant entertainment while babbling on about how much the developed world sadly is suffering.

  5. Almost nobody who brings up this topic is saying that it is fine. A lot of efforts are being made to hinder, counter and deal with the effects of climate change, but not everyone's fully on board yet

  6.  @samo7070  Maybe some forms of conservatism. I'm personally a conservative on most social policies but I do favour scientific advancement, studies, facts, and I do wish for all policy to be incorporated and upheld by a massive state. Not every right-wing person denies climate change. We'd benefit by a fresher air, sustainable energy, and policies leading to the most possible thriving circumstances for humanity. But it can't come with other political implications. It can't be unpragmatic, risky or unrealistic.

  7. Nobody is saying that we should counter climate change because the result may be risky immigration floods. But yes, that's a valid point that people should be potentially worried about, because many green/lefty parties will be in total favour of accepting potential climate refugees, knowing their regressive agenda and everything.
