Apparently only writing something on the board has significance? Dave was very calm. He should have taken the schematic and just wrote it out. A level students know about amino acids and peptides. Can't remember if they are expected to be able to know structure in details. Certainly Uni first year. I would have impressed the hell out of this idiotic audience at 19 with my amazing powers of recall! All those structures off by heart? What a genius! No, what was important in this debate was showing what is going on the field right now, not first year Biochemistry.

@Selendeki Dave attacked him specifically for telling lies about the field. He illustrated specific comments, direct quotes from Tour that showed he was making things up. Dave focused on those things. Tour drew some structures on the board, no idea what that was about. First year biochemistry students already have this knowledge. Sugars, bases, fats, amino acids so simply drawing a couple of these organics did not demonstrate anything. Dave simply pointed out ACTIVE research and publications in the area.

@eliumolina4240 He called Tour a liar because that is what he is. He used DIRECT quotes from Tour PROVING he misrepresented scientific research AND science teaching for undergraduates. Tour is a liar AND a fraud. Either you didn't watch the video, are a liar like Tour or too stupid to make the connections like his idiotic audience.

@NinjaMonkeyPrime He lies about other things regarding science. Evolution? Does he think this happened? Is he explicit about this with his sheep? Is he explicit about abiogenesis? Aron Ra asked the pertinent question. How did it happen then? We know there was only bacteria for at least 2 billion years so what ever he thinks happened, there has to be a progression NOT any sort of creation. So, from bacteria or rather prokaryotes, to Eukaryotes, multi cellular, vertebrates, mammals, primates us over 3.5 billion years. Of course his answer is Jesus did it, not ' I don't know.' He lies, he is a liar and yes that is an insult BUT it's true. Those are the worst insults, the true ones!
