@Kevin Reese. The light has been travelling across universe to get to us. We are seeing those stars as they were in the past. The distance between us and those objects is increasing.

lots of targets, from images of Jupiter in our own solar system to the most distant objects in Universe. Plus things it will pick up along the way that no one was expecting.

@outisnemo8443 I think you have been on too many conspiracy sites. Like I said if you can disprove Einstein then come onto physics forums. It is run and moderated by scientists. You can cite the published literature that explicitly outlines why SR, GR, Einstein and therefore Lorenz and Maxwell are wrong. A word of warning, you cannot take your own personal theory and claims. You need the actual papers.
4
@outisnemo8443 I am still waiting for a citation from a respected peer reviewed journal that explicitly outlines the flaws in SR and GR. Why those theories and therefore Einstein is wrong. I will wait, right here, on the edge of my seat.
4
@hoon_sol Nope, like I said predicted by Einstein, worked on by Hawking, Carroll, Weinberg, indirect evidence from moving bodies, I posted the actual video on that and now two EH projects involving over 200 scientists.
3
@kizzjd9578 Er no. That's not how Science works
2
@adamcunningham2511 Disproving What?
2
@NotLikeUs17 To refute an established Scientific theory you have to provide an alternative that explains all the current data.
2
@zetectic7968 Yes Hubble amazing whey they finally fixed it.
2
@outisnemo8443 SR is pretty easy to illustrate Mathematically not so easy to explain. It is one of the the most tested theories there is. GR not so easy unless you know something about tensors. Both solid. Einstein was pretty good.
2
@outisnemo8443 You have explained absolutely nothing on this thread. All you have done is make idiotic claims regarding established verified Science with zero evidence to back it up.
2
@StevenDragoo Truth is a little philosophical for my liking. Also theory and Scientific theory are not the same.
2
@StevenDragoo Truth in the Bible? Like what?
2
@StevenDragoo Most Biblical scholars do not think that. Only evangelicals.
2
@StevenDragoo No it is salient. You said the Bible was all truth and I was pointing out a very simple contradiction. Matthew 1:2-16 gives one line and Luke 3: 23-38 gives a different one. It cannot be TRUE that Joseph had two different, fathers, grandfather, great grandfather and so on. One of those accounts or both of them are not true.
2
@adamcunningham2511 Science is zero about what you feel
1
@NotLikeUs17 Nope, just waiting for actual data or a published paper. Science does not work on what you feel or think, it works on published literature.
1
@Bodgie7878 Not actually being there is fine, Science uses what they can measure, like the Red shift of light from distant galaxies, the CMBR, Gravitational waves and calculations of things like the Hubble constant to find out things about the universe.
1
@tukayz254 What lies?
1
pouya TLDR But I am guessing no.
1
@wakingforbacon6439 Evidence is that it IS flat. That is what the data tells us
1
pouya Jury out I think
1
@zetectic7968 I thought they looked a bit over exposed when I first saw them. Since the raw data has been released some amazing details has been highlighted. I'm looking forward to seeing the very distant galaxies in more detail like earendal. The guys are still seeing what it can do as this is a game changer. Fingers crossed no more major micrometeoroid hits before they get more of these amazing images.
1
@masonthunkwell9786 Eh?
1
@kevinreese8224 Yes some of those stars in those very distant galaxies would have gone supernova. However even the very first stars that formed last millions of years so our ability to observe them is not dependent on how long they last, it is limited by distance. The distance between us and those very distant galaxies is constantly increasing so at some point we will be travelling too fast for the light to catch up to us. It will no longer reach us and will disappear from the view of our most powerful telescopes. Eventually ALL red shifted galaxies will disappear from view because of that reason.
1
@kevinreese8224 Just one final point. When you say 'forever' there are two sides to this. The Universe may be eternal ie infinite. From what I have read in terms of the current models? The Universe is most likely spatially but not temporally infinite.
1
@outisnemo8443 Yeah an exciting time in physics, the EH team unveils black hole in the Milky way, the LHC switches on again and Webb. Amazing.
1
@thetruthexperiment What assumptions? If you are suggesting a Scientific theory begins with guess then yes that's true. However the people doing the guessing are already published experts on the top of their game where many things have already been ruled out via observations. It would be like molecular biology researcher guessing a particular biochemical pathway leading to a particular form of cancer. The guesses can be written up in a paper, tested, verified, discarded, refined and discussed at conferences. Great example with some of these red shift galaxies being claimed in Webb data. The team at Jodrell Bank are saying they could be out, just the data on the early images pre calibration update. They can confirm this via spectral data, the other teams will be scrambling to find a hole. It is competitive, it is why Science works so well and progresses.
1
@outisnemo8443 The Event Horizon project has indirect images of two black holes including Sagittarius A and there is the behaviour of stars that move around unseen masses of huge magnitudes that has been about for much longer. These phenomena fit with Einstein's theory of GR which also describes some of the properties of black holes. There is some amazing imaging of one of these probably on YT.
1
@outisnemo8443 Here it is, this took 20 years. https://youtu.be/B0QRpid5_QU
1
@outisnemo8443 Here is Sagittarius A https://youtu.be/3xgc1651Als
1
@outisnemo8443 They have found a couple of things that are not predicted by the SM. Or at least not accurately. Time will tell on that, LHC has only been on just over a month.
1
@outisnemo8443 So BH predicted by Einstein, found via movement of bodies over a 20 year time stamp, then imaged by the Event Horizon project. Confirmed.
1
@outisnemo8443 You explained nothing, you are very confused I think.
1
@outisnemo8443 GPS would not work without relativity theory, particle decay would not work without it. Dirac used it in QM. The atomic bomb would not have worked without it. Atomic clocks have been used to test it and Einstein himself tested it via an eclipse. The rest of the stuff you said was nonsense. C is a value that results from Maxwells equations, it is a constant in a vacuum. Space time diagrams are built it and cosmologists use C and GR to build their models.
1
@outisnemo8443 I invite you to join physics forums, you can explain an expert there. I am on there as Pinball too, I'm a STEM tech, they are physicists.
1
@outisnemo8443 You're the one making the claim. Do you have a citation or not?
1
@hoon_sol Science does not work on videos on YouTube it works on published literature.
1
@hoon_sol So just forward the citation to a peer reviewed published paper.
1
@hoon_sol Just cite the paper. It's that easy
1
@hoon_sol You Joined YT a year ago yes? So you are 12 ? Investigate what the science community is about.
1
@hoon_sol As per my other posts. Stop posting idiotic stupid conspiracy theory nonsense and look at the actual Science. You are using that Science right now, to post.
1
@outisnemo8443 Are you going to cite the paper that disproves Einstein's theory or not?
1
@outisnemo8443 Nope, just another stupid conspiracy troll. Thanks for wasting several minutes of my time.
1
@karenthomson9749 I am not sure there is a limit on knowledge. Information technology knowledge Science all interlinked and if anything has sped up last 20 years or so. Will we die out before we work out all the good stuff? For me the big questions are, how did the universe begin, inflation why? Dark matter, what is it? Galaxy formation? A unification of gravity and QM. String theory and supersymmetry? Zero evidence so far. And........Is there Life on Marrrrrrrrrrssssssss? And the rest of the universe. Oh yes Abiogenesis, how did that happen? It would be nice if they could nail a few of those down in my lifetime. What's left of it.
1
@karenthomson9749 If by limit you mean beyond the observable universe then yes. Light will never be able to reach us. Penrose claims there could be the signature of previous Eons in the CMBR he calls them Hawking points. It's fringe though. Gravitational waves can travel further than light though, beyond the CMBR, what will they discover with it? If you mean limit to energy like at the LHC? They are at 13.6. TeV now. Something that would not have been imagined when the first colliders were being built in the 1940s.
1
@drphil4ril161 Meaning what? A god? Created everything? Any evidence for that?
1
@StevenDragoo It is accurate. I will give you a simple example. Who was the father of Joseph?
1
@StevenDragoo As in Mary and Joseph.
1
@StevenDragoo Obviously Genesis is complete fiction. Actual History begins around the 7th Century BCE when the early OT was written down.
1
@StevenDragoo The Bible was put together into a book in the 4th Century and some books did not make it in. The KJV was put together from about 100 manuscripts. They are full of contradictions. Today we have about 5700 manuscripts and it is estimated that there are 400,000 mistakes and contradictions in there. So when you say truth, which truth do you mean?
1
@StevenDragoo Perhaps you just do not know anything about the Bible? But you think it's true? I think that is the case for the majority of Christians.
1
@StevenDragoo Which part of my post is not correct?
1
@StevenDragoo Have you read any actual scholarship on this? John Mill the Oxbridge scholar was the first to point out all these errors in the early 1700s and the manuscripts have grown since then and have been studied since then. I will ask you again since you did not answer, if the Bible is all true then tell me who the father of Joseph was, husband of Mary in the NT.
1
@StevenDragoo No that is completely wrong. The dead sea Scrolls are nothing to do with the manuscripts I am talking about and no historian claims they are inspired, scholars just do not talk that way. If you have read Vermes then you will know some of the stories were modified, reflecting the changing theology and philosophy of the time. The NT manuscripts are mainly from the 9th century, before that they have mostly fragments. They do not know who wrote Gospels and half of Paul's letters. There are small mistakes in the Bible but there are some big ones too. Like the father of Joseph which you seem unable to answer. Perhaps you do not think it is important? The authors of Luke and Matthew seem to think it was important. The whole point of the genealogies was to put the line of Jesus back to the house of David from Bethlehem because that is where the Messiah was supposed to come from.
1
@StevenDragoo Punctuation? the Hebrew Bible contained very little.
1
@outisnemo8443 Er no. You know nothing. Why are you speaking to people like you have any sort of knowledge? You don't.
1
@outisnemo8443 You joined YT less than a year ago? So you are what? 12? Or had to make another account?
1
@outisnemo8443 Why don't you explain why BB theory is wrong? Then GR?
1
