@lefu87williford55 The bottom line is she did what she did. Were they great parents? Probably not, did they deserve what they got? No. Did they abuse her? That's a tricky question, we don't know those details. Still did not justify her actions. I would not to have to have walked in her shoes though, let's put it like that.

@lefu87williford55 She had the option to stay at her boyfriend's place, live with him but without any financial support. Basically cutting her loose.

@fark69 Yes it is not as if he did not give her a choice. Stay be provided for but go back to school or leave be free without my money.

@lefu87williford55 Whatever injuries he was left with, he had the thought in his head that his daughter paid people to kill his wife and try to kill him. I cannot imagine what that would feel like. I think me and son are pretty good!

I'm just so glad my parents were life long underachievers and expected the same from their mediocre son. Side stepped a land mine there.

@lefu87williford55 No evidence of physical abuse. We are guessing. Remember the options, stay, ditch the boyfriend, go back to school but be provided for OR go and be free but you are cut off. Plenty of kids have worse options than that and manage not to arrange to have the parents murdered. So, although I don't think that sort of parenting is ok, she deserved to go down for the term she got. Don't forget she wasn't a kid, she could have said screw you, I'll get a job pay my own way and see who I want. She would have had half the estate presumably if both had died and the cops would have bought it. A big pay out, no work, no school and a free woman.

They tied her up like that? To the bannister? What self respecting armed robber and murderer ties someone up like that? Without searching them?

@sorimasn doughnut probably, they eat doughnuts in breaks

@lefu87williford55 Getting a job seems reasonable. I would have wanted to get to the bottom of why she had lied for so long. She could not really go back to school at 24.

@RisforRockit I got an actual Science degree in the 80s though. Not Oxford but enough to get by. I didn't kill anyone so that's a plus

@lefu87williford55 One thing I have noticed it that the more of these that I watch, the more questions one asks. From all sides. I am more into science and music than psychology but I think these analyses are among the best on YT.

@c&f We don't know what was said or how the house hold really worked. The son said that the father could not be spoken to or reasoned with. This argument seems to have two camps but this should be about the same thing. She arranged to have them killed bottom line so had to go to prison. The 'authoritarian' description of her father is not a home I would want to have been brought up in. Just how bad was it? We don't know. One thing though, she was certainly not the shrinking violet or little girl a few posters have suggested. She was able to lie to her parents for years and had a drug dealer boyfriend. The falsified documentation from school and fake high school diploma. Then she knew where to go and who to speak to in order to arrange a hit. Would you have known how to fake your school report? A forged high school diploma? Hire a hit man? Her parents either created a monster or gave birth to one Probably a bit of both.

@lefu87williford55 Thanks.

@TheBOG3 Yes, that's why I said half.

@edwardmcmanus Yeah he screamed it with a bullet in his face and neck too. Not nice

@lefu87williford55 Was there physical or sexual abuse? Did they beat her rape her? What about the brother what is his view? Perhaps she was a spoilt psychopath? Piano lessons skating lessons nice house food clothes and no returns. They expected dedication in return. If you are saying her actions were justified then I am saying no. If you are picking a horse I think that is wrong too. I am not and that should be obvious from my posts. Authoritarian is NOT the same as abusive. Did the parents commit a crime? Child cruelty? Child abuse? Also she was FREE to leave.

@Shell2164 Yes, not nice options. However the law says that killing them is not an option.

Yeah but he didn't stay so had him wacked at a later date. Doing time as a lifer has its perks.

@grazisamor1991 Yeah I don't think she regretted the crime as much as getting caught.
