The Jewish texts pre date the Koran by 1000 years and the earliest written documents pre date it by 600 years. Those stories were circulating via oral tradition, that's how Mohammed heard them. They are not original.

  3.  @acpalestine3296  No. Most of the OT was written down around 600 BCE. The dead sea Scrolls date from the first century and have some almost complete books including Isaiah. Some of Paul's letters were written about 20-30 years after the death of Jesus and the Gospels 30-65 years after that. Many other Gospels exist that did not make it into the cannon that predate the Koran by centuries. All these stories were circulating via oral tradition and that is where Mohammed heard them and copied them.

I am an atheist and interested in the Bible as a collection of writings and the history that goes with it. I am not educated in history or Biblical scholarship, this is just my interest.

This is cosmology and cannot be described in words. Everything you see around you was made in stars mostly. Hydrogen and Helium after the BB.

  14.  @tomceman4451  Organic chemistry strictly speaking means containing carbon but you mean something else. 'living' chemistry? What is that? DNA? Proteins? Cells? What you need to start it all is a simple replicating molecule, something like RNA that can perform a function AND replicate. Life could have started with something like amino Acids, sugars bases or other organics. It is now known that these things firm perfectly naturally in deep space. Analysis of meteors has proven this.

I will not be able to do this justice as I am not well enough qualified. What people do not realise is big bang theory is silent on the moment at T=0. They don't know. What they do know is the conditions just after and the type of particles and forces involved. The BB started with a very hot dense plasma that expanded and cooled until de coupling at around 380,000 yrs. Technology cannot look back any further than this. Check the CBMR on wiki on how this was discovered after being predicted via theory. Current data indicates the universe is 14 billion years. How did it start? Jury out. Have a look at Penrose's CCC, the end of one universe marks the beginning of another. That's an interesting one.

This is fine) I think the question should be, what is 'living?' Is an ant alive? In the same sense we are? Is an ant sentient? What about an amoeba? A bacterium? A virus? A plasmid? A viroid/viron? I said that life could have got started with a simple replicating molecule, no tissues or organs, no cells or cell organelles, no cell wall or membrane, no DNA or proteins JUST a single replicating molecule. I would Google Deep sea vents, panspermia and molecular self assembly.

  19.  @tomceman4451  A new species from wild type is well documented. A good one is Croatian Lizards that formed a new species in 40 years. There is also us! Good old Homo sapiens sapiens, we split off from an ape like ancestor 7 million years ago. Google chromosome 2 and human evolution.

Here is a fact, life on earth evolved and IS evolving. We are descended from an ancestral primate the same as chimpanzees. This is demonstrated in the fossil record and the DNA evidence. There is zero evidence of a creation. Those are all facts.

Scientists looked at geographical distribution of species and Island species as per Darwin's observations, this was with virtually no fossils and zero genetic or DNA evidence as this was not known.

  28.  @tomceman4451  Ok, starting at one particular point. We have ape like ancestor, something in between then us. Ape like ancestor have a particular cranial volume, shape of pelvis, femur, occtipital bone and these give an indication of brain size, and upright walking. Australopithecus africanus and A. afarensis are examples that had ape and human features. A. afarensis was named Lucy and there is a lot of data on her and she is about 3.5 million years old. Homo habilis is about 2 million and show evidence of using tools. Homo erectus around 1.7 million Homo Heidelbergenesis around 500,000 ya and Homo floresiensis as little as 20 or 30,000 years ago.

  29.  @tomceman4451  Remember Evolution is not a daisy chain it's a tree. The exact lineage from ancient ape and passage out of Africa is not known fully. DNA evidence tells which primates are closest which lines branched off.

All small changes but very significant over time, we started to walk upright, our brains got bigger we could run use tools over about 4 million years. A great book that documents this? The Origin of our species, Chris Stringer. There are also books by Richard Leaky, son of Louis Leaky who is one of the fathers of human origins, check them out. A great book called 'Bones of contention.' Roger Lewin. There have been 100s of finds all over Africa and Eurasia over the last 100 years or so. Research them.

There is a last common ancestor of all primates, then mammals, then vertebrates and so on and so on. There are books on microbial evolution too, by far the vast majority of diversity of life n earth and time on earth has been the microbial world.

A skull is just one metric and not just cranial size but shape and how it attaches to the spine gives an indication of upright walking. Arms and fingers an indication of arboreal living, teeth an indication of diet. Pelvis and femur and indication of gait. These are real details established via analysis of the 100s of specimens found. Why aren't you interested? Why don't you check my references? Are going to do any reading or not?

Elements did not 'appear by magic,' elements are made in stars.

  43.  @tomceman4451  So you are confused about a few things. The theory of evolution (which will ALWAYS be a theory) is concerned with how species came about, small changes over time. How life got started is the discipline of abiogenesis, life from non life. Where matter came from is in the realm of physics. Which do you want to discuss? If you want to discuss abiogenesis then you need a good command of chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology. Evolution is easier to explain because even if you are not aware of what can happen at the genetic or cellular level you can see examples in nature. Cosmology is difficult I would leave that alone until you reach a high level of mathematics.

So a cat fish did not change into anything, it stayed a cat fish! There is no point me listing microbes, multicellular, invertebrates, vertebrates mammals primates etc if you do not know how it works.
