@sheilasmyth5874 It's more than knowing better. It is the difference between a lay person standing in front of a heart transplant patient ready for the op or me or you. There is a world of difference, knowledge and education. That said, I feel for her. RIP

@roleat Being in a vegetative state may be painless but would you prefer that or death? They could keep him alive till his muscles totally wasted, got all sorts of opportunistic infections, antibiotic courses, draining his lungs of fluid and then finally dying. I would like Drs to try and save me if I had a severe head injury but I would not want that. Months or even years of existing nothing more.
