@DaffierPig70935 People who say Freddie had the best voice are Queen fans not vocal fans. Especially when they say he was brilliant at live aid, he wasn't. Not because he is was bad singer but because he damaged his voice over time. Most rock singers did in those days. He also had a throat problem, inflammation/infection. Singing in his comfortable range his tone was beautiful and unique, in the studio he used falsetto which he rarely used live like here. It is difficult to constantly switch between the two which he did in the studio.
