@danialhillmann5374 You don't think covid is dangerous? It's lethal how dangerous can it be? If you get through the infection without dying you can have irreversible damage to your lungs, nerves and cardiac muscle.

@danialhillmann5374 Kill rate is not straight forward, it was over 10% first wave if look at cases. Cases were under reported March 2020, by early 2021 when alpha we were looking at 1-2%. You can do comparisons with things like lung cancer one of the biggest killers in the UK, 32,000 died in 2018. 40,000 died from COVID19 in a few months first wave.

@danialhillmann5374 No one has to live in fear, there are things we can do. I still wear a mask on public transport, my booster us next week although I may not need it as I had COVID19 a few weeks ago.

@danialhillmann5374 Speaking from experience, getting COVID19 vaccinated is not pleasant but for an asthmatic over 50 I recovered quickly and did not end up in A and E

@prieurduplessis4993 'Natural' immunity was mentioned, not for the first time. My post was a response to that. Covid 19 far outweighs any infectious disease in the UK or the states and it was the leading cause of death in some months of 2020/21 only lockdown and Vaccine have changed that. If you think 1-2% are good odds then that's fine, I would rather not take that risk. Stats from Vaccine injury indicate 1/100,000 or 1000 times smaller than the risk of dying from COVID19. Why risk a potential 1/50 death from COVID19 when risk from the Vaccine is 1/100,000?

@prieurduplessis4993 Read what I put. I said 'some months' between March 2020 and this year. We lost 1800 people in 24 hours in January if course it's the most deadly disease we have encountered. In a very long time. We have been n and out of lockdown and have the Vaccine so the deaths have been no where near what they could have been. We are currently losing 200 people per day from COVID19 which translates to 72,000 total per year OR the average amount of deaths in the US from flu. They have a population of 320 million to our 66 million. This is not scaremongering, it's common sense. Comparing the Virus to flu with its previously unknown pathology is simply idiotic.
