@andy.m265 Yes, some people are interested in Science, how it works, the methods. Some read the studies, published literature and may be actually educated in one or more of the areas. Others may have worked in a Scientific environment. Others go on Facebook.

@Jo-sp5cp Yes over 180,000 deaths in the UK alone. We are averaging about 70 deaths per day from Covid at the moment as cases are on the increase again. The hope is that the vaccines will continue to give protection from severe disease and death. There is one issue that has not factored in yet. A lot of people were kept from having hospital treatment and dental treatment from March 2020 till Fairly recently and there are still huge back logs. This will impact very negatively public health.

Anthony Howrard Posters are still insisting that the Covid pandemic was fake. For me? No I don't live in fear, I am fully jabbed and also had Covid. I was worried in 2020 before I had the vaccine as I have moderate asthma.

@jacksonbow2766 January 2021 pre jab/double jab 1800 deaths in 24 hours in the UK during lockdown, post jab? Averaging about 50 a day at the moment and been out of lockdown about a year. People will still die, it's a dangerous virus but vaccine protection has been and is being demonstrated.

They died by the millions, TB, Smallpox, Polio, Influenza plague etc etc. One of the reasons your life expectancy is double that of someone from 200 years ago or from a village in the Third world with no access to modern medicine, is BECAUSE of those " pin pricks."

@greatestytcommentator mRNA technology was developped to stimulate the immune system, that is exactly what a vaccine is designed to do. Not all the vaccines are based on that technology. Some are based on conventional attenuated adenoviruses. They all work. Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer and AZ. The Chinese one had lower efficacy.

@greatestytcommentator Most People have some sort of natural immunity, I only know a few people now who have not had Covid. The virus will find everyone but since most people now have a combination of Immunity from the vaccine and virus, the risk to the populations from severe illness is much reduced.
