  1.  @schmetterling4477  Wrong once again! Bell discovered a proof and his proof did not show that hidden variables were not possible only that a theory that used LOCAL hidden variables in its framework would not predict results that were consistent with Quantum Mechanics. Non-local hidden variables are fine!

  4. Actually Bell was inspired by David Bohm and Jon Von Neumann to investigate the idea of hidden variables further!

  5. Problem is that no one knows who's getting it right! No one has experimentally ruled out any interpretation and none of the interpretations have removed any of the weirdness of QM. None of them!
