  1. They want to rip you off more! Why have a mechanical parking brake that for most part lasts the lifetime of the car and never needs replacing when you can have an electronic parking brake that you might need to replace every 60k miles.

  2.  @stephenzies8867  This is completely unnecessary. Manual parking brake is way more intuitive and easy to use and repair!
