@moss8702 Pretty sure that would apply to all generations! At least Gen X would do everything possible to try to figure out which photo is real. We are not a trusting generation. Remember most of us were born when Nixon was president!

There was no talk of a coming ice age. Nonsense! There was no evidence for it. All the data was showing the opposite. I recommend learning about how thermometers work!

@jeffbarrick6826 You do know that whales were becoming extinct and a world wide mortarium was placed on whale hunting back in the 80s otherwise they would probably be all killed off by now. Also the Artic Ice is melting - do you even follow the science. A satellite-based data record starting in late 1978 shows that indeed rapid changes have been occurring in the Arctic, where the ice coverage has been declining at a substantial rate. Deadlines are never exact. In most sciences (even the hard sciences) it is really difficult to make spot on predictions. There are just too many variables and noise, however, the sciences are usually quite good at finding trends and predicting where those will be at in the future.
