  3. No. They walked away because he was a bad cop. Good cops, the ones who truly want to enforce the law ,apply it equally to everyone and are fair are respected by the community (even thugs). Alonzo was the complete opposite! And the reason they din't kill him is because they knew that Alonzo was a dead man walking. Word gets out on the street.
