@danielelkadi3499 Homie, the guy ran a platform on hating trans people. I have trans friends who are mortally terrified of their lives. And if we look at the policies that were enabled by the republican party, as well as laws in the works and already passed, they are trending towards commiting genocide against trans people. Those laws are making it impossible to be trans. Plus the guy said he wanted to commit violence against people who disagree with him, which is a group I do belong to. Plus the guy and his party have already eroded protections against corruption, and now they are essentially free to do as much corruption as they please.

@latenighter1965 Number of vacant homes? So the number of homes that are not being lived in, not the number of homes that are not owned. One cant legally live in a place one is not allowed to live in. So if one can not live in it, it does not qualify as a home a homeless person could own, therefore it is still a problem of not enough homes. One of those ways would be to convert all those vacant homes into homes one could live in.

@umechanx00 Um actually, in a way they already do. It is on all of us to fact check, and that is what we do. We do have scientists science to say 'um actually' and we have other people 'um actually'ing them. Thats been science the whole time. And our society 'um actually' s each other to effect the way we think about things.

@argumentumpoeticum Yep, because it is a collaborative effort, not a competition. We can almost thing of arguing as in trying to solve a problem, where we contribute information to the group to help fix that problem.

@xShadowChrisx Actually, it makes states not matter, it makes the people in those states equal. Every vote is equal. But, the small states still have over representation in the senate.

@johnwong5317 I don't think you understand the difference between censorship and common decency. You've conflated the two together. Go screaming the N word at people down a main street. You'll be allowed to say it by the government, but society isn't going to appreciate it and I'd you miss off the wrong people you might get your ass kicked. You aren't being censored, you are being ass. You are being hateful. And why would people want more hate in their life?
