@vagabondwastrel2361 that's bullshit. The majority of the population at the time of the founding of the US was majority rural. In fact, less than 5% of the population lived in cities of 8k people, and that was true until the 1820s. New york was just the bottom tip of manhattan and the boroughs were just farms and nature.
