  4. People need to define what woke is. Woke is a slang word meaning the awareness of an injustice. It is the opposite of the slang word slept. When a person becomes informed of an injustice they become aWOKEn to it and are no longer slept on the issue. That's it. For example, if a person doesn't know about America commiting genocide on native Americans, then they are slept on that issue. If that person learns about it they are now woke to that issue. That's it. I think it is concerning that people have created a culture war against the knowledge of injustices.

  15. I think you are all off-target here. The real issue is where you substitute that money from. They could increase taxes (which no one would want) to get all the money for Nasa. Or you have to pull that budget from somewhere else. Keep in mind, there are plenty of people who would rather we focus on fixing our country and not on space at this moment, and that is a valid concern. They have to balance everything, not just the things that we like. Should we take money out of the military and then be blamed for being anti-military or not supporting troops? Should we take money out of benefits, or healthcare, or education, or etc. You could set all of congress' salaries to 0, and you'd still only have a few million dollars. (plus, their salaries have been frozen for a decade).
