  1. Aren't you being a bit confused here? Pedophilia means being attracted to children, not (necessarily) actually having sex with them, and to my knowledge, the majority of pedophiles do not attempt that. The stigma in society for merely having that kind of involuntary attraction is harmful because it prevents people who have such problematic attractions seeking professional help.
