  1. 1:40 "Why would anybody take this bus if it's going to get stuck in the same traffic as a car." I would still choose the bus over a car if it's not slower either. Then I can at least e.g entertain myself with my phone instead of having to concentrate on driving.

  2. I think in dense urban areas there's another method that should be used to control car traffic, namely road tolls / congestion charges. That way, traffic becomes faster, and even those who drive a car benefit. A price should in principle guarantee that only those for whom the benefit of driving exceeds the price drive. (Same thing kind of happens with congestion but in that case, the "payment" in the form of time isn't received by anyone and represents destroyed value.)
